Geology Rock Classifier app for iPhone and iPad

Designed for classifying Rock types non genetically.
This is based on the British Geological Survey’s rock classification scheme.

You follow a simple list getting to increasingly precise rock definitions.

Contains over 50 diagrams and charts including:
QAPF diagrams for igneous rocks
Pressure temperature assemblages for metamorphic rocks
Texture and grainsize definitions for limestones.

Once classified the rock types and qualifiers can be copied to your phones clipboard allowing a simple transfer to mapping applications.
